Shlomo helped obtain documents, food and money for the refugees from Slovakia. In 1943 he was drafted to a forced labor camp from which he escaped in July 1944. Shlomo arrived at the “Glass House” on 29, Vadász Street. He was one of the diggers of the bunker in Érdliget. He moved escapees from labor units and children from the ghetto to the Protected Houses under the auspices of the International Red Cross. From November 1944 he transported food from the warehouse on Wekerle Street to Jews hiding in various places and to the children’s houses.
Shlomo made aliya and joined Kibbutz Metzuba where he died.
